1. Scope and role

This Privacy Notice applies to the KORFINA application, this marketing website, and direct support communications. KORFINA is an educational stock market-practice workspace. It is not a broker, investment adviser, custodian, or real-money execution service.

Market examples in the app use deterministic demo data. When KORFINA labels and links to a public source, visiting that source is governed by the source operator’s own privacy practices.

2. Information we handle

The information involved depends on how you use KORFINA:

We do not ask for brokerage credentials, bank details, government identification, or custody information. Please do not place sensitive financial or identity information in notes or support messages.

3. How information is used

We use information only as reasonably necessary to:

provide session planning, risk checks, simulated journaling, replay, mapping, and reminder features;
preserve settings and records you choose to create;
diagnose errors, protect the service, and improve reliability;
answer messages and fulfill privacy requests; and
comply with applicable law and defend against misuse.

We do not use practice records to generate investment advice, rank securities for purchase, or profile you for advertising.

4. Storage, retention, and security

Practice records

KORFINA is designed to keep practice records in the app’s local storage. If your device platform includes system backup or you export a record, copies may be handled by the destination or backup service you select. Those services operate under their own policies.

Support communications

Support messages are retained only as long as needed to respond, maintain a reasonable issue history, meet legal obligations, and prevent abuse. The contact form on this site prepares a message in your email application; it does not silently submit the message to a website database.

Safeguards

We use proportionate technical and organizational safeguards. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Device access controls, current operating-system updates, and careful handling of exports remain important.

5. Sharing and external services

We do not sell or rent personal information. Information may be disclosed only:

to service providers that help operate support, security, or required infrastructure under appropriate restrictions;
when you direct an export, backup, or communication to another service;
when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and service integrity; or
as part of a legitimate organizational transaction, subject to applicable protections and notice.

Public-source links and your email provider are external services. KORFINA does not control their independent data practices.

6. Your choices and rights

You can manage local practice records using the controls available in the app, including editing or deleting content. Removing the app may remove locally stored records, subject to device backups you control.

Depending on your location, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an objection concerning personal information we control.

To make a privacy request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify the request while collecting no more information than necessary. You may also have the right to contact your local data-protection authority.

7. Children’s privacy

KORFINA is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required in a user’s jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through support, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where required.

8. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when the product, our practices, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be identified in the app or on this page where appropriate. The date below shows when this notice was last revised.
